Curriculum

Mount Olive College strives for excellence at in the area of producing a total child. Therefore, we offer the best of national and international curricula with a broad range of subjects that will help meet the needs of our students and also guide them in their choice of profession in future.

Key Stage 3 (Junior Secondary School. JSS 1-3)
The school adopts a uniquely integrated approach in its academic content, combining both Nigerian and British curricula (Cambridge Checkpoint ). The Cambridge Checkpoint is a final assessment given to Key Stage 3 students or at JSS 3. This examination is conducted by the University of Cambridge through The British Council and has international recognition and endorsement. The students will also sit for the state examination (BECE) and the national examination (NECO). All students from year 7-9 (JSS 1-3) are required to do all the foundational subjects listed below.
