Information, Communications and Technology is a system used to control, manage, process and create information through telecommunications technology and computers (Otherwise known as ICT). In Mount Olive College, we believe in the use of ICT for learning and application in every area.
Information Technology is a combination of communication, reservation, processing and multimedia capabilities. The main role played by communication networks is called information and communication technology (or: information technology and communication).
Today, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) is of first rate in education systems, but the origin of this saying is based on scientific finding particularly training sciences, developmental psychology, knowledge and education capability. Information Technology promotes knowledge and skills of learners thereby encouraging and improving creativity, critical thinking and learning how to learn.
ICT plays a pivotal role in the acquisition of knowledge because of its changeable ability and its capability to making relationship among students.
In MOC, we make appropriate effort to propel application of IT and making it a base in development programme, as we consider this to be one of the greatest resources of skillul and proficient learning.
